Assemble Watches

Privacy policy

Last updated 20 July 2026. A plain-English summary of the data needed to run Assemble Watches.

What we collect

You can use the builder without an account. If you create an account, we store your email address, whether WorkOS has verified it, your optional marketing preference, and the builds you explicitly save. We also store community submissions you create; signed-in submissions may be linked to your account so they are available across devices.

Sign-in and cookies

Sign-in is provided by WorkOS AuthKit. Assemble uses secure, HTTP-only session cookies so your browser can stay signed in; those credentials are not readable by site JavaScript. WorkOS processes authentication information under its own privacy terms.

How we use it

We use account data only to operate your account, save and restore builds, keep community submissions attributable while you choose to keep an account, prevent misuse, and improve the site. Marketing email is optional and is never required to use an account or the builder.

Deleting your account

From the Account page, you can permanently delete your account after confirming a fresh sign-in. This removes your WorkOS identity, Assemble account record, saved builds, and marketing preference. Community submissions remain available to the community and are no longer linked to your account, but remain accessible in the same browser through its local session. Clearing that browser's site data removes this local access. Deletion cannot be undone and there is no deactivation window in this version of the service.
